From far away the Truck Stop on the Edge of the Universe resembles a finely tiled plaza. Each semi truck, bus, and box van parked in a neat herringbone pattern. Masked by the low grumble of idling engines, is the sound of sizzling hamburgers. The cooks, Betty and Nancy Rath took the risk of being discovered in order to make friends with their neighbors.

After many weeks of driving under the endless sun, the Argosy’s cloaking device finally gave out. In order for the couple to make repairs, they had to rely on good old fashioned stealth camping. At the Truck Stop on the Edge of the Universe, the biggest and tallest long haul rigs rested. Their trailers forming a protective wall around the little motor home, their bumpers just low enough only the campers hubcaps could be seen, if passerby were to crouch that is.

Another project was being completed in secret in the next parking spot. If done right it would make traveling by motor home or big rig obsolete. Perhaps if this project lives up to the hype you could walk to your destination in a few steps, instead of several million strides.
