I'M MATTHEW FRANCIS

I am a local artist,

and part time adventurer.

 I create scenes of those places we daydream of during the workday.

I’ve been creating for almost as long as I have been able to hold a pencil.

I lean towards bright colors during the warmer months of the year.

During the colder weather, I am all about creating cozy scenes.

My work blends old-world

attention to detail

 with the almost alien

forms of plant life.

I’m always on the lookout

for more inspiring scenery.

 Whether It’s right here in Olympia or out on the far-flung trails

 let me add a castle,

a starship, a cabin, or two.
